Preventive healthcare with a clear plan.
Health assessments help us monitor your overall health, identify risk factors and provide support before concerns become more serious. They create time to look at the bigger picture rather than focusing on a single symptom.
For many eligible patients, the clinic offers four fully bulk-billed assessments with no out-of-pocket cost: the Age 45–49 Health Assessment, Age 75+ Health Assessment, Heart Health Assessment and Menopause and Perimenopause Health Assessment.
Support at important stages of life.
Each assessment has specific Medicare eligibility requirements. Reception can help confirm which appointment may be appropriate.

Age 45–49 Health Assessment
A one-off Medicare assessment designed to help eligible patients stay well and reduce the risk of serious health conditions.
A focus on early detection
Our doctors and nurses review your overall health, family history and lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, sleep and stress. The assessment considers common risks including heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers, as well as mental health, alcohol use and any other concerns you wish to discuss.
Your personalised health plan
Following the assessment, we work with you to create a plan that may include blood tests, lifestyle advice, referrals for additional checks or support services to help you remain healthy and active.
Cost and eligibility
For eligible patients aged 45 to 49, this one-off assessment is fully covered by Medicare with no out-of-pocket cost. Contact reception to confirm current eligibility before booking.
Age 75+ Health Assessment
A comprehensive annual assessment designed to support independence, safety and quality of life.
Physical health and function
The assessment considers physical health, mobility, vision, hearing and your ability to manage everyday activities.
Memory, mood and medicines
Our doctors and nurses review memory and mood as well as your medicines, checking that they remain safe, effective and are not causing unwanted side effects.
Support and home safety
We discuss social support, home safety and services that may help you continue living independently. Allied health, community or specialist referrals can be arranged when needed.
Annual Medicare assessment
For eligible patients aged 75 and over, this yearly health assessment is fully covered by Medicare with no out-of-pocket cost.
Support throughout pregnancy.
Antenatal care includes monitoring your health and your baby’s development, checking blood pressure and arranging appropriate blood tests, urine tests and ultrasound imaging.
Our clinicians can identify potential concerns, provide guidance throughout pregnancy and coordinate specialist or maternity care when required.
Pathology support
4Cyte Pathology is located within the medical centre, providing convenient access to specimen collection and referred blood, urine and breath tests.
Heart Health Assessment
A Medicare-funded check-up for eligible people aged 30 and over, designed to estimate cardiovascular risk and support long-term heart health.
What we review
Your doctor and nurse review your medical and family history, existing health conditions and lifestyle factors including diet, exercise, smoking and alcohol use.
Clinical checks
The assessment includes blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar checks. These results help estimate your risk of heart attack or stroke during the next five years.
Your heart health plan
Your personalised plan may include lifestyle advice, support programs, a medication review or referrals to allied health professionals or specialists. The assessment is bulk billed with no out-of-pocket cost and may be repeated every 12 months if you remain eligible.
Menopause and Perimenopause Health Assessment
Supportive, evidence-based care for eligible patients experiencing the changes of perimenopause and menopause.
Symptoms
Perimenopause and menopause can bring hot flushes, sleep difficulties, mood changes, weight changes and changes to menstrual cycles. Every person’s experience is different.
Health assessment
Your doctor reviews your symptoms, medical history and lifestyle and considers longer-term risks such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and metabolic changes.
Management options
Your personalised plan may include lifestyle advice, non-medication approaches or medical treatment such as menopausal hormone therapy when clinically suitable.
Ongoing support
The goal is to provide clear information, safe options and ongoing care to help manage symptoms and protect your future health. Eligible assessments are Medicare funded with no out-of-pocket cost.
