What to know before you book.
STI testing and treatment
Many sexually transmissible infections have no symptoms. Depending on your circumstances, testing may include a urine sample, blood test, swab or examination. Your doctor will explain which tests are appropriate and discuss treatment or follow-up if needed.
Contraception and reproductive care
Services include family planning, contraception counselling, hormonal IUD and contraceptive implant care, pregnancy-related support, cervical screening, menopause care, erectile dysfunction and prostate health.
How we can help.
Your appointment is tailored to your concerns, symptoms and personal circumstances.
Confidential sexual healthcare
Care is available to young people, LGBTQIA+ patients, sex workers, people with disability and anyone seeking respectful sexual healthcare. Your doctor will ask relevant questions and explain any examination or testing before proceeding.
Sexual and reproductive health
We can assist with family planning, pregnancy-related care, contraception options, breast concerns, Cervical Screening Tests and menopause support. The Cervical Screening Test has replaced the former Pap test in Australia.
Prevention and ongoing care
Your doctor can discuss safer sex, STI prevention, erectile dysfunction, prostate concerns and how smoking, alcohol or other drug use may affect your health. We may contact you about results, repeat testing or follow-up care according to the practice’s communication and privacy policies.
