Breast and cervical healthcare.
Breast assessment
Your doctor can perform a manual breast examination to assess changes, lumps or discharge. Depending on the findings, they may recommend mammography or other imaging such as breast ultrasound, MRI or tomosynthesis to investigate concerns as early as possible.
Cervical screening
Cervical screening involves collecting cells from the cervix to check for changes that could lead to cervical cancer. It may also help identify inflammation or infection. Your GP can advise when screening is due and discuss any symptoms or concerns.
Sexual health
Our practitioners provide confidential sexual healthcare, including STI prevention, testing and treatment advice. They can also discuss contraception and reproductive health concerns in a respectful environment.
Contraception and reproductive healthcare.
Your GP can explain available options, assess suitability and help you make an informed decision based on your health and preferences.
Hormonal IUD
A hormonal intrauterine device is a long-acting, reversible contraceptive placed in the uterus. A formal consultation is required before insertion. The clinic provides hormonal IUD insertion and removal but does not offer copper IUD insertion.
Implanon
Implanon is a small contraceptive implant placed beneath the skin. It slowly releases progestogen and can provide highly effective contraception for up to three years. The clinic provides insertion and removal.
Medical termination
For an unplanned pregnancy, the clinic provides confidential medical termination care in a safe and supportive setting. A clinical assessment is required to confirm timing and suitability.
Support throughout pregnancy.
Antenatal care includes monitoring your health and your baby’s development, checking blood pressure and arranging appropriate blood tests, urine tests and ultrasound imaging.
Our clinicians can identify potential concerns, provide guidance throughout pregnancy and coordinate specialist or maternity care when required.
Pathology support
4Cyte Pathology is located within the medical centre, providing convenient access to specimen collection and referred blood, urine and breath tests.
Professional support through menopause.
Menopause is a natural transition, but symptoms can affect everyday wellbeing. Our GPs provide individual assessment and ongoing support.
Symptoms and assessment
Symptoms may include hot flushes, changes in libido, sleep disturbance, mood changes and weight changes. Your GP will consider your symptoms, health history and individual risk factors.
Management options
After assessment, management may include medication, lifestyle advice and preventive health planning. Treatment recommendations are personalised to your needs and clinical circumstances.
Children’s health services
Our GPs also care for children’s physical and mental wellbeing, from common illnesses to preventive healthcare.
Common childhood illness
We assess colds and influenza, gastroenteritis, conjunctivitis, ear infections, RSV, sinusitis, hand, foot and mouth disease, strep throat and other childhood concerns.
