Camberwell Medical Group’s existing nursing services list ECG testing. An electrocardiogram records electrical signals from the heart using electrodes placed on the skin.
A doctor may request an ECG when assessing particular symptoms, reviewing heart rhythm or as part of another medical assessment. The result is interpreted in the context of your broader clinical information.
Your doctor will consider your symptoms, history and other clinical information when reviewing the result.
An ECG appointment at the practice is not a substitute for emergency assessment. For a medical emergency, call 000.
Your appointment is based on your concerns, health history and individual clinical circumstances.
Discuss relevant symptoms, medical history and the reason for testing.
